What I liked about Dellafit in 2019
Over the break you might be making a new year’s resolution to get fit and strong in 2020. Here is some inspiration from some of the women who trained with me over 2019. I asked them to let me know in a few words what they got out of Dellafit this year. Here is what they said:
ANNA – excellent primary school teacher and mum of 3 – “I’ve loved being part of Dellafit this year as it has allowed me to be a part of a team of like minded ladies who enjoy staying fit and socializing at the same time”.
JEN – High powered career woman with 2 beautiful cattle dogs – “Della makes sure each person receives professional fitness training and personal attention and you work out with a lovely, welcoming group of women. I’ll be back in 2020”.
POLLY – Social commentator and triathlete – “Fun way to do strength work and get fit. Lovely coach and supportive environment.”
KAZ – Creative genius and mum – “Dellafit is a bit of a lifeline- easy to get to and beautiful location. Della is super positive and kind.”
ALI – Recently competed in the NY Marathon to raise money for cancer – “Core strength. It helped me to improve my running tremendously.”
SIMONE – lawyer, radio personality, supporter of the arts and mum of 3 – “Better mental and physical well being, joyful morning discipline, camaraderie of women, flowing flexibility.”
JOCELYN – mum of 3 and all round high achiever – “Fitness, fun, fresh air and friendships”
You will see from the answers that there seems to be a common theme. It’s the references to the group itself that speak the loudest. You will not find a group like this anywhere else. It is an amazing group of women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. Some of them are super fit and some are still getting there. Some have become people who train on a consistent basis. Some struggle to get to training once a week. The thing that they all have in common is that they are AWESOME.
We are a fun, interesting, uplifting place to be. AND you get fit at the same time.
