Pilates in the park with our new coach Hannah
We are super excited to be able to offer a Mat Pilates class at Dellafit every Thursday at 9.15am at Rushcutters Bay Park. Pilates outside in nature is a unique offering.
Our new coach Hannah is excited to be joining us bringing us her skills and expertise. As a mum of 3 young children Hannah is aware of the challenges women face getting their training in – so she will make sure the session counts. Hannah also wants you to enjoy the sessions and hopes that as well as getting results you have a bit of fun in the process.
If you have not already jumped on the Pilates bandwagon here are some reasons why you might like to join us:
You can expect:
- improved posture (which means you look better and avoid injury)
- better coordination and balance (important as you age. Lack of balance has been linked to an increase in chronic illness)
- increased strength – using bodyweight as resistance
- improved sense of your body and its capabilities
- avoidance of injury as you develop a strong core, strong arms and legs
- improved focus and concentration
- stress relief and better sleep.
Women love the benefits they get from Pilates without having to jump around all over the place or move at a high intensity. They also love the way they can build their skills. For every movement there is a progression and a regression so everyone from the most advanced to a beginner can access Pilates. Mat Pilates is super convenient – you can practise anywhere with little or no equipment.
If you would like to join us for Mat Pilates on Thursdays get in touch on 0410 413 509 or DM on insta @dellafit.sydney. We welcome you even if you just want to try it out to see if it is for you.
