Meet Simone – she has found some “me time”
Simone is a very busy woman. I don’t call someone “busy” very lightly. But Simone IS busy. She has a career in law with demanding clients in different time zones. She has 2 teenage children and a preschooler. She also moonlights on the radio with her own “What’s On” segment which means that she has to go out to see a lot of performances and meet up with the people who will be performing. As well as being busy, Simone is also very kind and considerate. She is bubbly and fun. Simone is basically pretty amazing.
Over a year ago Simone found herself searching for a new way to keep in shape. Simone knew that the right exercise regime would actually give her more energy to keep up her busy schedule. Simone wanted to find something that could be done outside the preschooler’s hours in the early hours of the morning. She also wanted to do something with like minded women as she knew this would be more fun than training alone. It was important to Simone that she make the best use of her time. Whatever she found had to “work” for her. She wanted an “all-encompassing exercise regime which was focussed and fun and achieved muscle tone and fitness”.
Simone was looking for her “me time”. There are so many exercise groups out there. There are fitness apps and 24 hour gyms. Simone wanted a place where she could feel comfortable even if she had had a bad night’s sleep or a long week. She knew that even though most of the time she would give her “best efforts”, the workout she needed and the group that she wanted to be in was one that would work at the pace she had to give that day. This is the right thing to do by the way. You should listen to your body.
Simone knew that if she did not find an exercise regime that would work, her physical and mental health would be at risk as she navigated her busy life.
And guess what? Simone found what she was looking for in her local park at Rushcutters Bay with Dellafit. She joined a group of women (mainly in their 40s, 50s and beyond) with an experienced trainer for 3 to 4 sessions a week to do strength and conditioning. Dellafit is programmed in a very clever way so that YOU decide whether you will move HARD or move WELL or both.
I asked Simone to let me know what she thinks is the best part of Dellafit and she told me that she loves “the range of different exercises we do in each session, the fact that you can go slow, medium or hard depending on how you are feeling that day and the enthusiastic and supportive camaraderie of women exercising together with the double barrel benefits of physical and mental wellbeing”.
Since doing Dellafit, Simone says “I have certainly noticed my stress levels are lower and my mental health is better. I feel a lot healthier and it’s a great way to start the day.”
Thanks Simone for being such a good client and an advocate for Dellafit.
YOU too can be like Simone.
