Meet Alex – our member of the month for November

Usually it is a bit hard to figure out who should be member of the month. But for November I did not have that problem because one member has poured her heart and soul into training and nutrition in November. That member is Alex.
Alex had a rough time during the latest lockdown. She was not in a good place as we started to get back to “normal” life. Rather than feeling sorry for herself, she decided to give her all to getting the spring back into her step.
Alex committed to training and has not missed one session. Even with this terrible rainy weather Alex has fronted up every time ready to train. Alex is great to have in any group as she is really good at keeping everyone’s spirits high – the mood just lifts when she is around. Alex is the first one to comfort other group members when they are down and the first one to laugh at a joke (usually she was the one who made the joke!)
One big step for Alex is that she has decided to give alcohol a miss for a while. This has made a real difference to her outlook and the way she feels and it is more in tune with the vibe of her comeback. She has paid special attention to her nutrition with homemade recipes and lots of planning. Alex has also done lots of work on her mindset using visualisation techniques.
Congratulation Alex! You have kicked November on its ass. We love you and look forward to seeing you smashing your goals. If you keep going at this rate you will be there in no time.
